Red Apple are a creative house with offices in London and New York specialising in audio, digital and video content. Primarily working with Spoitfy as their preferred digital partner, they also help a host of well known global brands to craft engaging user experiences.
Red Apple was rapidly growing and wanted to diversify their offering. Their next move was to use their creative specialists to attract new clients and grow new business development. The problem they had was that they had never hired a senior creative to lead their internal design team. This had always been handled by the Digital Director.
I had previously met Red Apple in 2016 when I worked there on a short contract. After contacting me for some guidance on hiring a senior creative, they offered me the role as an interim hire.
I spent 6 months working with the team at Red Apple, overseeing the creative output of a team of 4 designers and 6 developers. Working alongside project managers, I helped deliver campaigns across all brand engagements on the Spotify platform.

For me, highlights of this engagement included facilitating the launch of their new branding and website, the on-boarding of new direct clients, and a small win of getting some artwork up on the studio’s walls, you have to enjoy working where you're working.
